Clean up murder scenes in Serial Cleaner, top-down stealth action game to hit Steam Early Access tomorrow

When mafia guns step out, you step in to clean up the mess before the police lay their hands on the evidence. This is more or less the plot of Serial Cleaner, a top-down stealth action game, which is hitting Steam Early Access tomorrow.

Working as a professional cleaner doesn’t seem exciting – unless we’re talking about cleaning murder scenes by disposing of bodies and weapons as well as covering up all traces and material evidence leading to the perpetrator. This is what you do in Serial Cleaner, a story-driven, fast-paced stealth action game with 1970s aesthetics and funky soundtrack, in development by Polish studio iFun4all. Of course, your actions are not approved by the police, so you have to be careful not to get spotted by patrolling officers. See a glimpse of gameplay footage in this PAX West 2016 trailer:

Serial Cleaner is going to be available in Steam Early Access starting tomorrow – September 29, whereas the final release is planned for early 2017. The current version is going to offer eight playable levels with four enemy types and working core mechanics. Future updates will include more levels with unique background music and more enemies, not to mention bug fixes. Buying Serial Cleaner while it is still in development will save you a few bucks – the Early Access version is going to cost $9.99, whereas the full game will be priced at $14.99.
