Halls of Torment offers an intersting combination of bullet hell and roguelike gameplay, taking clear inspiration from titles like Vampire Survivors and similar games. Brace yourself for intense battles against swarms of enemies, character progression, and challenging encounters with formidable bosses. It's a demanding journey where you constantly find yourself outnumbered, and a single misstep can lead to your downfall, as death looms close. However, each playthrough brings new opportunities as you unlock additional perks and characters, gaining strength along the way. In this guide we will talk about Cleric – how to unlock this character and use it.
Cleric can be unlocked if you defeat the Lich in Haunted Caverns. This character is interesting because of its attack pattern. It gives a constant amount of damage, which is divided equally to all enemies in range.
Sadly, abilities are random in the game, so you don’t have the opportunity to pick whichever one you want. We can recommend:
Taking into consideration cleric’s main weapon, it is a good idea to pick traits connected to damage. You may also want to increase your cone’s size.
Of course, a very important aspect of every character is movement speed. It should also be increased.
Your equipment should support your weapon, so pick items which will allow you to kill more enemies. An interest addition are tools, which will enable you to gather experience in the wider area. Thanks to that you will not have to spend any upgrade points on that.
