Baldur's Gate 3 may already be two years old, but it is still the kind of RPG that can really get someone's blood boiling, especially in Honour Mode. Turn-based combat combined with tough enemies and clumsy NPCs is a mix that makes every player's life difficult. Fortunately, there are still unconventional yet effective solutions, such as this secret combination. Before you start accusing me of cheating, just know that everything can be done without using mods!

The answer is: recipe for victory. At one point in the BG3 community, the fusion of Loviatar’s Scourge and Victoria's body became really popular. Does anything ring a bell when you read these names? No wonder. If not, though, it's because we're talking about a really unusual path here. Let's start with the easier part.

Loviatar’s Scourge is a mace in the possession of Abdirak, a follower of the Maiden of Pain, whom we meet already in Act One during the exploration of the Goblin Camp. We primarily associate the servant with the "Loviatar's Love" buff, which provides a bonus to defense rolls. What if we decide to go for a more direct (and bloody) confrontation? Then we'll get our mace, which can only be obtained by killing Abdirak.
The unique feature of this exceptional weapon is that it guarantees the user complete resistance to Necrotic damage. In Act Three, we have to go to the Cazador's palace and take the body of a girl named Victoria from there. If we keep the unlucky victim of the vampire lord in our inventory, it will curse and cause massive Necrotic damage to all NPCs around.

By wielding the Loviatar’s Scourge, our character will be completely immune to Victoria's curse, unlike our opponents. The whole thing is a perfect radioactive mix for situations when we don't want to engage in direct combat. Just wait in the dialogue window until the enemy takes their last breath.
Unfortunately, there is a catch in this tactic. "Loviatar-Victoria’s Scourge" still has a lethal effect on our companions, so the only solution is to leave them in the camp or to give them a potion of resistance to Necrotic damage. In our opinion, it's worth using this move, just too bad for Victoria. And Abdirak, too, actually.
