Crafting an Awesome Map From The Witcher 3

A YouTube video shows the process of creating an amazing map of The Witcher 3's game area. The work was created at the request of the well-known youtuber Kyle Hill, who hosts a science channel.

The hosts of the YouTube channel WhenGeeksCraft, which have already created a lot of interesting things, made a map of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This unique work was created at the request of youtuber Kyle Hill, who, in turn, is working on educational and scientific materials. The game area was presented with plywood, glass and resin.

The map covers the area of the Northern Kingdoms together with the White Orchard and Skellige. The main material is plywood, in which the contours of the land were cut out by laser. The water is blue epoxy resin, which was carefully applied to the space between the cut edges. Small elements of the map were engraved or coloured with acrylic paints. The inscriptions are mainly decals. The whole thing is covered with glass and decorated with veneer frames. The creative process can be seen on a video published by the authors:
