Cult of the Lamb recently made its debut and very quickly won the hearts of a ton of players. Roguelike from Massive Monster is collecting a lot of great reviews, which is also reflected in the game's activity figures. In turn, the gameplay itself seems ideal for playing together with friends. However, is there even such an option available?

Cult of the Lamb - what about multiplayer?

The question of whether Cult of the Lamb offers multiplayer or co-op mode, can be answered rather quickly. Currently, the game does not have these elements, but this does not mean that this will not change.

The developers have made it clear that in the future they would like to enrich their creation with the possibility of playing with friends. Of particular interest to them is the possibility of creating a local co-op mode, although an online variant is also on the table (but we will probably have to wait even longer for it).

For now, the developers are not sure what such modes would look like. They have only assured that they will take a closer look at this issue after the game's release. It remains to be hoped that it will not take too long.

The success, however, will probably speed up the implementation of multiplayer mode in Cult of the Lamb. Currently, the game enjoys great popularity, as evidenced by, for example activity results on Steam (up to more than 60 thousand people have played it simultaneously)

The developers will certainly want to keep the players interested, which is where the multiplayer mode would help. So it is possible that we will soon learn something new about it.
