Cyberpunk RPG The Ascent Delayed; New Gameplay Available
Neon Giant informed that the release of cyberpunk RPG The Ascent will take place next year. A new gameplay was also released.
We have some bad news for those waiting for the cyberpunk action RPG The Ascent. Neon Giant, the studio responsible for the project announced that the release of the game has been delayed until next year. No exact date was provided. The reasons for the delay were not revealed either. Let's recall that originallly, the game was to debut in fall 2020.
To wipe away the tears, the developers have prepared new video material to help us assess their progress. The video offers over four minutes of gameplay.
The video comes from the beta version of the game, but it gives a good idea of the direction this project is heading. We can see on it, among others, the exploration of a futuristic city and the gun-focused combat system.
The Ascent is coming to PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game was to be a launch title for the latter. Due to the delay, these plans are no longer valid.
