Chernobylite and The Ascent Among Steam's Biggest July Releases
Valve presented the July list of the best launches on Steam, in terms of revenue. The mentioned games include Chernobylite and The Ascent, as well as remasters of the classic first three installments of Final Fantasy.
Valve published a list of July's biggest releases on Steam. The list includes the bestsellers and most played games of the month. Store's owners have prepared a list of 19 titles that earned the most revenue during the first two weeks after launch, but they arranged them in random order, without sharing specific data about their sales. In addition, there were 5 free games, marked by the highest number of unique players who have joined the fun since the release date.
There is quite a mix of genres on the list. From remasters of three classic installments of Final Fantasy, through minimalist Mini Motorways and space MMO Starbase, to Chernobylite, which appealed to fans of the STALKER series.
