Dead Island 2's Gory and Vulgar Trailer Turns Up the Hype Ahead of Release

Dead Island 2 will not lack bloody combat and meaty dialogues, as the game's launch trailer reminds us.

Debut of Dead Island 2 is just around the corner, as the game's developers and publisher remind us every now and then with more information and materials. Today the excitement is aroused by the game's launch trailer, which you can watch below.

Recent videos have focused on showing the ruthless action (or its setting) that will hit players once they arrive in virtual Los Angeles. There's also plenty of gameplay in the new trailer: characters in Dead Island 2 will deal with zombies in ways as numerous as bloody (and sometimes explosive). The trailer also reveals a bit about the plot, although in this aspect the developers share information quite sparingly.

Nevertheless, players are unlikely to mind. This and previous footage from DI2 have clearly fueled the interest of Internet users, which can be seen from comments on YouTube or Reddit.

Most of them do not expect moral dilemmas or innovative solutions from this game, but rather a well-presented butchery, giving a lot of fun from dealing with the undead. Apparently, the launch trailer was to their liking, but only after the debut will we find out whether the title will not disappoint.

Dead Island 2 will be released on April 21. The game will be available on PC (for now only on Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. For PC, we recommend checking official system requirements.
