Dead Space Remake Launches in PC and Xbox Game Pass Today
Space survival horror fans will soon be able to enjoy the Dead Space remake in Game Pass. Two other titles will debut today on Microsoft's service.
A refreshed space survival horror game set aboard the Ishimura will hit Game Pass today. If you're a fan of Isaac Clarke, but haven't played the remake so far, you should make room on your PC and Xbox drives for the Dead Space version on Microsoft's popular subscription.
The January hit on Game Pass today
A total of three new games for subscribers will hit PC and Xbox Game Pass today, which will also be playable in the cloud. First among them is definitely the remake of Dead Space from Electronic Arts. This title has received excellent reviews - both from critics and gamers themselves.
Currently, the average rating of the game from experts on Metacritic is 89/100 - based on 96 reviews of the PlayStation 5 version. The game is received similarly by gamers; they gave it a total of 1186 notes, which gives an average of 8.8/10. On Steam, the situation is comparable - 91% of user reviews are positive.
It is worth adding that the refreshed Dead Space was among the best rated games of the first half of 2023 according to Metacritic. Electronic Arts' game was only surpassed by a few other blockbusters this year, such as Street Fighter 6 or The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Survival horror also performed well in the annual summary.
Recall that the remake is based on the 2008 game of the same name. In the new version of the space adventure the developers added some fresh content. The title can be played from January 27 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
Not only Dead Space
The schedule of games to hit Game Pass in October has two more debuting today.
The first is a set of three humorous adventure games called, Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery released in October 2022, and the second is a charming adventure game with RPG and economic strategy elements titled Mineko's Night Market.
