Get ready for Delta Force season 5 – Arknights joins the fight. A special collaboration event could bring new characters, skins, and challenges to the game.
Delta Force, the modern revival of NovaLogic’s classic tactical shooter, is showing no signs of slowing down. The player count keeps climbing, especially after the mobile launch – even without crossplay or controller support. But that hasn’t stopped players from having a blast. And with Season 4 wrapping up soon, there’s something big on the horizon: Team Jade revealed that the upcoming Season 5, Break, will feature a surprise collab with Arknights. Fans are in for a treat.
Delta Force announced yesterday on X that they’re teaming up with Arknights for a special collaboration in the upcoming season. They’re planning to reveal all the juicy details during a preview livestream on June 27 at 8:00 PDT, so mark your calendar.
If you’re not too familiar with Arknights, here’s a quick breakdown. Arknights is a free-to-play tactical RPG/tower defense hybrid developed by Hypergryph and published globally by Yostar. It first launched in China in May 2019, and came to international players in January 2020. It’s available on mobile and PC.
Set in dystopian sci-fi world, we play as a Doctor, leader of a medical/military group called Rhodes Island, trying to find a cure and protect the infected from oppression. The game features a beautiful anime art style, top-tier voice acting (especially in the Japanese version), and a banger soundtrack that’ll stick in your head for days. Plus, there’s challenging late-game content like Integrated Strategies and Contingency Contract. The franchise is also expanding with an RPG spin-off that was first revealed in 2022.
This isn’t Arknights’ first collab either, the game has already had two crossover events with Rainbow Six: Siege.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
