Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will introduce a new difficulty level for hardcore players

During our interview with Jean-Francois Dugas, the executive director of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, we found out that the game will introduce a new difficulty level that will be a treat for all hardcore fans out there.

We’e recently had a chance to talk to Jean-Francous Dugas, the executive director of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and spend some time playing the pre-final version of the game. You can read our preview by clicking the link below.

During our conversation we tackled some important issues, e.g. graphics or how long it will take to finish the game. We also learned that Mankind Divided will get a new difficulty mode that is called “I never asked for this”. This is going to be a treat for hardcore gamers who like a serious challenge, since this difficulty level will feature permadeath. This means that if Adam Jensen dies, you will need to start the game from the beginning. Based on what Dugas said, completing the game on normal difficulty will take over 20 hours; thus, you can expect that a bigger challenge will mean more hours spent in the game. Moreover, remember that there will be lots of collectibles to be found (notes, newspapers, messages) and there is definitely more than one ending.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on August 23, 2016. The game will pick up the story of Adam Jensen two years after the events of Human Revolution.
