Capcom has released new gameplay from Dragon's Dogma II, the sequel to the excellent action RPG from 2012.

The footage is extensive - it lasts more than 18 minutes and gives a good idea of what the project will offer. The whole thing focuses on presenting the game's main attraction, which will be the arcade combat system. Importantly, the video presents gameplay from the perspective of different classes - the footage shows how Fighter, Thief, Warrior and Sorcerer in combat.

Director's apology

On the materials released so far, the game looks excellent, which is gratifying, since we have been waiting almost twelve years for the sequel. Director of Dragon's Dogma II, Hideaki Itsuno, is aware of how long this time has been for fans of the first part. In a recent interview he revealed that he wanted to develop the sequel right after the release of the original, but for various reasons this did not happen, and apologized for how long players had to wait for the sequel.

Dragon's Dogma II is heading to PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5, and will be released on March 22 this year.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is one of the games discounted on Steam's winter sale. Thanks to this, the game can now be bought for $5. The offer will expire today at 10 a.m..
