About the fact that Dying Light 2 will get a big DLC, we've known for a long time, and not so long ago we mentioned some rumors about it. Game data examined by a fan suggest that the expansion will focus on gladiator arena battles staged in a former opera house building. All this would be accompanied by new storyline, as evidenced by thousands of lines of dialogue found while digging through the game's files.
The teaser trailer, released today by the developers from Techland, reveals the title of the DLC - Bloody Ties - indicates that we will indeed take part in arena battles. Or at least this is the impression left by the teaser (available below).
Of course, this is just a small sample of what will actually appear in the expansion. More information is expected to appear soon, as evidenced by the counter appearing on the game's official website and a message from Geoff Keighley published on Twitter. A full announcement of the DLC will take place at gamescom, during Opening Night Live - August 23.
It is worth mentioning that other highly anticipated games are also scheduled to appear during the show: Hogwarts Legacy and The Callisto Protocol. Keighley mentioned them here and here (yesterday and today).
