Not only Cyberpunk 2077 will get new content this fall. Techland announced today that it will deliver a lot of new free content for Dying Light 2 players, along with updates coming to the game this fall and winter.

On the horizon are not only new variants of weapons, enemies or game modes, but also crossovers with other well-known titles.

Dying Light 2 full of new features

Techland has released a brief schedule for the coming months: from October to December this year. What awaits the players? One of the most important novelties is the introduction of firearms to Dying Light 2 , which will significantly change the methods of fighting the undead hordes.

In addition, in the fall updates we will get, among others, Tower Attack mode, which, in the developers' own words, is a direct response to the requests of fans who were hoping for a "dungeon crawling" experience. Added to this will be weapon repair mechanics, new enemies and much more.

In addition, players will be treated to special crossover events with other productions. In October Dying Light 2 will feature bloodsuckers from Vampire: The Masquerade. Next will be a Halloween event.

The merging of the worlds of Techland's game and For Honor from Ubisoft is scheduled for November/December. The end of the year will be concluded by a "winter celebration," and in February 2024 we can expect an event to celebrate the game's second birthday.

In addition, in a press release, Techland announced a Q&A session on its Discord server for September 26, where fans will be able to ask for details. Something tells me, however, that the conversation will be dominated by the controversial topic of the recently introduced store and microtransactions...
