Techland has released a new update for Dying Light 2. The patch is the third in a series of so-called Community Updates, which are patches that introduce changes suggested by the community.

  1. A system for repairing damaged weapons has been added, thanks to which we no longer have to part with our favorite weapon. Reparations can be made at any craftsman, as long as you have the right raw materials and some currency.
  2. In addition, thanks to the update every time you kill an enemy, there is a certain chance that he will drop their weapon and we will be able to pick it up.
  3. Players can now take apart weapon mods for components.
  4. A new degree of weapon rarity has been added. They are not only distinguished by increased durability and damage - they also have special features, such as increased headshot damage, a chance to inflict double damage during a strong attack or to stun enemies.
  5. GRE Anomalies can now be played again, facing even more dangerous opponents.
  6. New types of zombies have been introduced, including electric variants of the Viral and Biter, with transformers embedded in their chests.
  7. Previously unseen finishers have also been added.
  8. The Halloween event has returned, with unique challenges, the completion of which enables you to unlock the so-called Nightmare Glove blueprint.

These are just the most important changes, those interested are recommended to read the full list available on the game's official website.

It is worth mentioning that there is currently a discount for Dying Light 2 on Steam. As part of it, the base game has been discounted, along with the story DLC Bloody Ties.
