Escape From Tarkov Is a Russian Response to The Division

Escape from Tarkov is an upcoming PC MMO shooter with emphasis on story and survival elements. Teams of players will fight in an open environment of an abandoned, devastated city.

Fans of online survival shooters should keep an eye on Escape from Tarkov – a new project from Russian developer Battlestate Games (whose members used to work on such franchises as S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Mass Effect, and BioShock). Players will visit a large (16 square kilometers), open city of Tarkov, whose ruins became an arena for two rivaling military organizations. Escape from Tarkov will put much emphasis on story, realism, survival, and team-based combat, but also on exploration and extra activities. Sounds like a crossover between Tom Clancy's The Division and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (or DayZ without zombies), doesn’t it?
