The Elder Scrolls Online Will Take Us to Unknown Regions of Morrowind

A journey to the unknown regions of Morrowind will be one of the attractions coming to The Elder Scrolls Online in 2023.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom is the next chapter in the history of the MMORPG set in the universe of the TES series. The expansion was revealed during the Developer_Direct show, but more was said about the DLC during a separate broadcast titled ESO 2023 Global Reveal.

TESO: Necrom will debut on June 5 on PC and June 20 on PlayStation and Xbox. It will be part of a larger adventure called Shadow Over Morrowind. As the title suggests, within this storyline we will return to the homeland of the Dark Elves, and the whole thing will center around Hermaeus Mora, the daedric prince of knowledge and keeper of many secrets.

The Gardener of Men will need the help of mortals to resolve a crisis that could destroy all of reality. At least, that's what the Daedra claims, but can you trust an entity that the legends of numerous peoples have warned against for centuries?

The thread will be initiated by the release of the Scribes of Fate DLC, which will debut on March 13 on PC and March 28 on XOne, XSX/S, PS4 and PS5.. Players will explore two four-player dungeons (Scrivener's Hall and Bal Sunnar) and uncover secrets that threaten all of Tamriel. And, of course, they will acquire new loot and relics.

The story will continue in subsequent content packs, including Necrom and as yet undisclosed DLC planned for this year. The former will take us to the Telvanian Peninsula, among other places, and will mark the first time since the card-based TES: Legends, when we will visit this region (in Morrowind we had access to the island of Vvardenfell and its surroundings; the peninsula is on the continent of Tamriel).

In addition, we will find ourselves in the domain of Harmeus Mora in Oblivion. In both of these regions we will encounter both new characters and old friends. Necrom will also introduce a seventh character class: the Arcanist, who wields secret knowledge. With this class, too, will be associated a unique resource known as Crux, which will be accumulated by using abilities and then used to enhance others.
