Evil Dead The Game Only in 2022, but With Single Player Mode

The release of Evil Dead The Game has been postponed to 2022. The developers need more time as they decided to add a single player mode.

EVIL DEAD: THE GAME IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Developer: BossTeamGames
  2. Publisher: Saber Interactive
  3. Genre: action game
  4. Platforms: PC, XONE, PS4, XSX, PS5, Switch
  5. Release Date: February 2022

BossTeamGames announced that Evil Dead: The Game has suffered a delay and will be released only next year. The project is expected to hit the market in February 2022 and for now the developers are unable to give a more specific date.

There are two reasons for this slip. First, the developers need additional months to properly polish the project so that it meets the expectations of fans. Secondly, the team has decided to introduce a single player mode to the game, and its preparation will take a long time.

Evil Dead: The Game was announced in December last year. Initially it was supposed a purely multiplayer game. According to the devs the single-player option is supposed to "enable us to play without companions needed for co-op", so we shouldn't expect completely new locations and adventures, but still the announcement of possibility of solo play will please many players.

Evil Dead: The Game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

It is worth mentioning that the game is not the only attraction for the fans of the brand coming next year. They can also expect the premiere of Evil Dead Rise. In the U.S. it will debut on HBO Max, but in some countries in Europe it will also have a theatrical premiere.
