The developers of the fan-made remake of Fallout 1 released an extensive demo of the project on the Fallout 4 engine.
The demo for Fallout: Vault 13, a project aiming to recreate the content of the first game in the series using the Fallout 4 engine, debuted as announced tonight. You can download the demo version from NexusMods and ModDB, or the official project Discord.
You need to install the demo using the selected mod manager. If you have Vortex (the official program of the NexusMods service), all you need to do is use the "Download: Vortex" option on the project card on the right side of the screen. Alternatively, you can download the mod files and install them using the Mod Organizer 2 program.
The demo allows you to check a large part of the modification. The creators ensured that it accurately represents what the full version will offer, while also cautioning about several significant differences and deficiencies.
Generally, the demo is impressive. The creators have a lot of work ahead of them, but their current achievements are already impressive. The demo version offers hours of entertainment, and the creators have effectively captured the original atmosphere.
