Fallout 76: Steel Dawn Launches Prematurely by Mistake

Bethesda Softworks released the Steel Dawn update for Fallout 76 a few days earlier as a result of a mistake. The mistake concerned only Xbox One, but the developers decided to release the patch on other platforms as well.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. As a result of a mistake, developers from Bethesda Softworks accidentally released the Steel Dawn update for Fallout 76 a few days earlier;
  2. Initially only Xbox owners could download the patch, but the developers decided to speed up the release and make it available on other platforms as well.

According to Windows Central, Bethesda Softworks accidentally released the new update for Fallout 76 - Steel Dawn. The free patch wasn't due to debut until December 1st, but as a result of a mistake, Xbox One owners were given the option to download it several days in advance.

In this situation, the developers decided to officially speed up the release of the patch on all platforms.

Fallout 76: Steel Down is a big update that brings to the game an iconic faction known to all fans of the Fallout universe - Brotherhood of Steel. As part of the patch we got new tasks, camps (or basically underground bases) and NPCs. Of course, there will also be a lot of powerful gear (the Brotherhoodl is known for the use of powered armor).

Fallout 76 is available on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On the day of its launch, the title was in disastrous condition, and the various mistakes and wrong decisions on the part of the developers often sparked controversy. However, we have to admit that Bethesda is consistently improving and developing its work and for some time now - at least since the release of the Wastelanders expansion - player opinions about the game have been improving.
