In just two months and a bit, we will the debut of Starfield, one of the most anticipated games of the year. So it is clear that other developers, not wanting to compete with such a big event, are postponing the release of their works to a more safe date. Unfortunately, among their ranks - albeit for slightly different motives - were also the developers of Fallout: London, an ambitious mod for Fallout 4 from Bethesda.

A representative of the team responsible for the fan-made mod, Dean Carter, reported that the project was originally scheduled for release in the third quarter of this year, but the new release date of Starfield, announced a few months ago changed those plans. The reason, however, is not to avoid confrontation with the RPG. The developers thus wanted to give players more time to get well acquainted with Bethesda's game. In turn, they themselves, thanks to this, received a moment to refine Fallout: London.

"This not only gives you more time to play Starfield but also gives us more time to test the mod and fix bugs, so it's a win-win situation, right? We just appreciate your patience," reads Carter's announcement (via PCGamesN).

How long will we have to wait for the mod? It turns out that it won't be that long. Admittedly, the developers have not provided a specific date, but they are sticking to this year.

"We do not give a specific date, but I can openly say that it will be the fourth quarter of the year," he added.

So there is nothing left for us to do but to be patient and expect more information on the matter.

Fallout: London is an impressive fan-made mod the size of a separate DLC. The mod will take players to the capital of England in the era of nuclear post-apocalypse. The project from talented developers brings the familiar nature of the world of Fallout into completely new places, with new factions, adventures, storyline, characters, weapons, monsters and many other elements for which players have come to love the iconic series.

It is also worth recalling that the modification so impressed Bethesda that they offered some members of the team a a job with the company.
