We will have to wait a little longer for the final season of Stranger Things, but, as one of the stars of the show says, it will be worth it. Finn Wolfhard, who plays the role of Mike Wheeler, revealed in an interview for Collider some details about the upcoming installment of the adventures of the kids from Hawkins.

Stranger Things is set to return to its roots

Apparently, the final season will answer many of the questions fans were asking after the fourth installment of Stranger Things ended. Some viewers wondered about Vecna's detailed history, Nancy and Steve's relationship or Max's future, among other things. According to Wolfhard, the new season is likely to bring answers to these questions.

"Well, I think the season will answer an insane number of questions about various threads in Stranger Things. I think a lot of people will be happy with the show's conclusion - it's the last installment, so we want to go back to the roots of the series. I think it will be very sad, but I'm also excited as a fan. For now, I don't know how it will all end. I've only read the first three episodes, so we'll see. But yes, I can't wait to see where all the characters go," said Finn Wolfhard.

The show is also expected to return to the roots, thanks to which it has achieved such popularity. Hopefully, the Duffer brothers will combine all the elements well and, as Finn Wolfhard says, provide viewers with a satisfying finale to the story. For now, we don't know when the fifth and final season will debut. Work on the production was recently halted, so the premiere date will probably be postponed.

More productions in the Stranger Things universe

Despite the fact that Stranger Things is nearing its finale, this does not mean the end of stories from this world. We already know that in October we will get a book telling the story of fan-favorite Eddie Munson, and a spin-off in the form of an animated series.
