Flyout is an indie simulator title by Stonext Games, and it has garnered a warm reception from fans, drawing the interest of hundreds of players. In this game, players have the opportunity to design and operate their own aircrafts. However, in the process of crafting these flying machines, not everything may proceed as initially intended. Many people experience various crashes. Let’s learn more about them.

Fix Flyout Problems – Black Screen, Crashes and Corrupted Data

There are many reasons why the game may crash. If you experience the problem, when you enter the test flight phase, but the editor works more or less properly, your GPU may be too old. Check how much memory it has. Flyout requires at least 4GB of graphics memory to play properly (VRAM). You should also make sure that you have at least 8GB RAM and graphics settings are as low as possible.

If you manage to start the flight, and it breaks after some time (the screen becomes mostly black and it crashes soon after), it may be the problem with hinges. If you build too many of them, the game may not work properly. The same will happen if you will fly too high.

Crashes can be also fixed in some cases by file integrity check on Steam (the game sometimes causes data corruption on various files). However, it is only a temporary solution, as it helps for a limited number of flights before the problem reoccurs. After that you have to do it again

In many cases, the root of crashes is yet not fully known, which makes finding a solution a difficult task. You will have to be patient and wait for official patches. You can also signal bugs on the official Discord channel.
