Football Manager 2024 Officially Announced
The next part of the well-known series about running your own football club has been officially announced. We know the release date and price of Football Manager 2024.
Rumors concerning the new Football Manager, which hit the web last week, have come true. The game was officially announced, and the developers released a short trailer (available below) and shared basic information about it. Premiere of Football Manager 2024 will take place on November 6.
Platforms and price
The game will come out in four different versions: FM24 will be released on PC and Mac, FM24 Console on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, FM24 Mobile on Android and iOS mobile devices (on Netflix only), and FM24 Touch on Nintendo Switch.
The new installment of the series about running a soccer team costs exactly as much as the previous part, i.e. $59.99 (this applies to the version for current-gen consoles and PCs). Until November 6 FM24 can be purchased 10% off - it's worth noting that on the PS5 console the 10% discount is only available to PS Plus subscribers. If you decide to pre-order the game, you will get up to two weeks of early access to the game.
In addition, Football Manager 2024 will hit the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on the day of its release.
What will FM24 offer?
Unfortunately, so far we don't have much information about the gameplay in FM24. The developers have released a schedule that indicates when specific features will be discussed. In September and October, we will hear more about:
- the revised system of transfers, squad building and finances;
- the operation of intermediaries and the function of removing players from the team;
- the refreshed Set Pieces system, concerning player habits.
The biggest novelty to hit FM24will be the ability to import career records from the previous part - this feature was revealed already some time ago.
It is worth noting that Football Manager 2024 is the last installment of the series developed on the old engine. So we can expect significant changes only with the release of Football Manager 2025, which will be powered by Unity.
