Renowned industry leaker Tom Henderson has revealed that The Division: Heartland is nearing completion. The anonymous source reports that the free-to-play title will receive four gameplay modes, rather than two as originally expected.
While The Division 2 continues to receive updates (and strugge with various issues), work continues on a free-to-play shooter set in this universe - The Division: Heartland. In a new report on Try Hard Guides Tom Henderson presented some new details from anonymous sources who provided the leaker with, among other things, footage and images from the game.
Unfortunately, the journalist did not share the aforementioned evidence, but if his information is to be believed, it suggests that Red Storm's work may already be at a very advanced stage of development.
Henderson also mentioned in his report that the free-to-play game will offer not two game modes, as initially claimed, but as many as four. According to the source they are to be: Excursion, Storm, Nightfall and Hunt.
In addition to the above information, the well-known industry leaker confirmed that Heartland will offer a crossplay feature. In addition, the game has undergone a major overhaul of the inventory system, making it more player-friendly than in the original The Division.
Unfortunately, at the moment we do not know when exactly this spin-off will appear on the market. According to the information, which we reported about several months ago, we should expect that it will take place at the turn of 2022 and 2023.
The Division: Heartland will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
