Games With Gold for September 2021 (i.a. Warhammer: Chaosbane and Mulaka)

September brings another four titles for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. This coming month they can look forward to Mulaka and Warhammer: Chaosbane, among other titles.

Microsoft announced the titles we'll be able to pick up in September as part of Games with Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service. This time they should appeal to fans of fantasy or indie games, among others. The two main highlights on the list are Warhammer: Chaosbane and Mulaka. The first is a hack-n-slash action RPG, which takes the players to the dark Old World. The next one is an inconspicuous action game with elements of a 3D platformer. Mexican folklore elements give it a unique character.

In addition, the list also included two titles that Xbox 360 owners may be familiar with. These are Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Samurai Shodown II. Both items can be launched via backward compatibility on Xbox One and Series X/S. Particularly noteworthy in this regard is the former of the two - it's basically a compilation of the first two installments of the Zone of the Enders series, developed by Hideo Kojima.

Games with Gold in September:

  • Warhammer: Chaosbane - from September 1 to 30 (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)
  • Mulaka - from September 16 to October 15 (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)
  • Zone of the Enders HD Collection - from September 1 to 15 (Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)
  • Samurai Shodown II - from September 16 to 30 (Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)
