Numerous players complain about the extremely slow download speed of Genshin Impact on PC. As it turns out, the solution to the problem may be suprizingly simple. Like, basic IT advice-simple.
Genshin Impact launched yesterday, but the release of this F2P action RPG clearly didn't go as smooth as the developers dreamed. Many PC players report problems with downloading the game. The title is downloading extremely slowly, which makes the whole process seems like an eternity. As it turns out, the solution to this inconvenience can be extremely simple.
Players have discovered that if they want to significantly increase the download speed of the game, they should stop and then resume the download. If this does not help, it is worth trying to turn the game client off and on. Both steps may need to be repeated several times; in this way, the launcher is allowed to choose the right (random) server.
However, please note that with this method we can both improve the situation... and make it worse, ultimately slowing down the whole process. So if we have a bearable download speed, it's better not to fiddle with it. Nevertheless, many people report (e.g. Reddit users) that in their case the aforementioned solutions actually proved to work after a few attempts.

Why does Genshin Impact download so slowly? The reason is probably due to the interest in this game, which may have surprised even the developers themselves. And there is nothing strange about it, especially if we remember that Genshin Impact has been hailed as the Chinese answer to the bestselling The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild after first presentations. As playing the title does not require the players to reach for their wallets, apparently (too) many of us have tried to give this project a chance.
