- SteamDB: 163-490 thousand.
- PlayTracker: 194,000.
Yesterday marked a week since the launch of the cyberpunk action game Ghostrunner. It's a good time to take a look at how the debut work of One More Level fared on the market. So far, everything seems to indicate that the title has been a great success.
The devs haven't provided official sales results yet, so we have to rely on estimates. According to the paid version of SteamSpy, Ghostrunner was already bought by 518 thousand users Valve's platform. SteamDB, on the other hand, based on the number of reviews on SteamSpy, calculated the sales result at 160-482 thousand copies. The latest and least verified source is PlayTracker, which gives 192 thousand buyers.
When analyzing these numbers, it should be remembered that they only apply to Steam versions. Ghostrunner on PC is also available from Epic Games Store and GOG.com, among others. The game is also available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Overall sales results are probably higher than these estimates.
It's worth mentioning that Ghostunner also made it to the top ten of the biggest bestsellers on Steam last week.
Let's recall that the game debuted on October 27 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Initially, the same day the Nintendo Switch version was to be released, but the launch was delayed to November. Further releases for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 are also planned, but we'll wait for these editions until next year.
Ghostrunner was warmly received. The PC version has an average rating of 82% on Metacritic. For the PS4 release the score is 77% and 78% for XONE. The game was also appreciated by our reviewer, who gave it 8.0/10. The project was also liked by the players - on Steam, the game has already received over 6.7 thousand user reviews, 83% of which are positive.
