Grim Dawn's New Expansion Will Add New Land and Mastery

Grim Dawn is one of those hack and slash games that is not talked about much, but if it is, it's usually well. The game, which debuted in 2016, has already received several minor DLCs and two sizable expansions. It turns out that another one is on the way.

Grim Dawn will receive a new expansion

The DLC will be called Fangs of Asterkarn and will take the player to the snowy areas of a new land. The expansion will introduce many new features that will provide further hours of fun. Of the important changes worth mentioning are:

1. A new land located in the snowy peaks of Asterkarn, during the exploration of which we will find caves, forests or valleys. The are is home to Kurn tribes, which we will be able to help in battle.
2. Another, tenth, mastery will be introduced. It will be a Berserker with the ability to turn into beasts. Thus, the number of mastery combinations will increase to 45.
3. The expansion will not increase the maximum player level cap, but it will be possible to gain new powers after completing quests or using a new customization mechanic for potions..
4. Ascendant game mode will also be added, in which every dungeon and boss will pose a significant challenge.
5. The DLC will also add hundreds of items and many new enemies.

Release and price of Fangs of Asterkarn

The developers did not give an exact release date. However, they wrote that they plan to release Fangs of Asterkarn in 2024, but as they themselves stated, you never know when they will want to add more content than they originally planned. It may therefore be that you will have to wait a little longer for the expansion.

The price of the DLC will be similar to that of other major expansions. Recall that currently on Steam and GOG the DLCs Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods cost around $15. It can therefore be expected that Fangs of Asterkarn will cost around the same.
