Here's GTA San Andreas Map Recreated on Unreal Engine 4

A group of three friends from South America recreated the whole map from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on Unreal Engine 4. Unfortunately, the whole thing only exists in non-playable form.

Many fans still consider Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to be the best instalment of the iconic gangster series from Rockstar. Probably a lot of you like to come back to it from time to time, whether on PC, console or mobile devices. But have you ever wondered what this title would look like if it was made today with Unreal Engine 4? The answer to this question may be the following video.

The San Andreas map shown in the video, reproduced in the latest version of Epic Games' engine, has been prepared by ArcadiaSquad, a team consisting of Argentinean Santiago Ibarra, Chilean Fabian Álvarez and Colombian Juan David Góngora. As we can read in the description of the video on YouTube, the whole idea of the project was born four years ago, while work on it officially started a year ago. Now we can admire the final result.

San Andreas is beautiful.

Unfortunately, the San Andreas map presented in this news cannot be visited personally. It exists only as a model to be admired, and ArcadiaSquad is not planned to create any other version. As a consolation, however, we can write that a fully playable fan-made remake of the 2004 hit from Rockstar on Unreal Engine 4 is being prepared by another team. You can follow the progress of their work here.
