Giant monsters got their TV series. Here you can find how many episodes will Monarch: Legacy of Monsters have and when they will air on Apple TV+.
The era of massive monsters isn't over, and it seems that the best is still ahead of us. The MonsterVerse is rapidly evolving and the popular universe is being expanded with a new series. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is the first live-action episodic production in this universe.
The main story of the series is set in 2015, shortly after Godzilla's attack on San Francisco. Cate, who managed to survive this traumatic experience, is at the heart of the events. Because of complicated family issues, she travels to Japan and encounters the titular organization, Monarch. The case requires a careful investigation and examination of the world of huge monsters.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters stars Anna Sawai as Cate, Kurt Russell as Lee Shaw, and his son, Wyatt Russell, who plays a younger version of the same character. The production also features Ren Watabe as Kentaro, Mari Yamamoto as Keiko, Joe Tippett as Tim, and Elisa Lasowski as Duvall. The creators of the series are Chris Black (Star Trek: Enterprise, Desperate Housewives) and Matt Fraction (Da Vinci's Demons).
The first season of the series has ten episodes, three of which are already available on Apple TV+. The next episodes will appear every Friday until January 12, 2024.
