Here's the Best LoL Skin According to the Community

The League of Legends community held a poll in which the users chose the nicest character skin in Riot Games' MOBA. According to the players gathered on Reddit, the coolest skin is Corporate Mundo for Dr. Mundo.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. League of Legends players have chosen the best character skin;
  2. Voting was conducted on Reddit, lasted sixteen days and took the form of a tournament (the winner from a pair went through, the loser was eliminated);
  3. The best skin was announced to be Corporate Mundo for Dr Mundo.

The Reddit community gathered around League of Legends chose the best character skin available in the game. Voting lasted sixteen days and was divided into several stages. First, players chose the best skin for each of the 157 playable heroes. Once the community had made its initial selection, the play-in phase ensued and 128 skins were selected to compete in the knockout stage.

The final vote was split into eight rounds. Skins were grouped into pairs (this link will take you to the tournament ladder and results) and the winner who would go on to the next stage was decided through a system of eliminations. In the grand finale two best skins faced each other - Corporate Mundo and Dark Cosmic Jhin. Eventually the scales of victory tipped in favor of Dr. Mundo, whose skin won by by: 5277 (52.64%) to 4747 (47.36%).

312,969 votes were cast throughout the tournament. The biggest single victory went to the second place winner - Dark Cosmic Jhin, who defeated the Pulsfire Shen skin with 85.23% of votes.

Naturally, the result of the vote doesn't have to reflect the aesthetic sense of every LoL fan but it is a fact worth noting (as an interesting curiosity). Perhaps the vote will be taken as a hint for Riot Games regarding the design of future skins and cosmetic elements.
