Infection Free Zone throws you into a world ravaged by a virus, where you lead survivors in a real-world city or town of your choice. This strategic survival game blends base building with action as you scavenge resources, construct shelters and production facilities, and defend your base from infected hordes at night. Vehicles become a crucial tool in all these tasks. Read more to discover how to find and use Cars.
Vehicles in Infection Free Zone serve several purposes that can aid your survival. The primary use for cars is to move your survivors around the map quicker. This allows you to:
There are a couple of different vehicles that you can find around the map in Infection Free Zone, from common cars to cargo trucks or even fuel trucks. The specific location and number of vehicles are randomized during map generation, this can depend on factors like city size and difficulty level.
However, the good news is that new vehicles can spawn after several days in gameplay or after the expedition scenario, so there’s always a chance you could find more cars later in the game.
Once you locate a vehicle in Infection Free Zone, you can assign a squad to it. To do so, just select a group of survivors and click on the vehicle. With a team assigned, you can click on any point on the map, and they will automatically drive the car to that location.
Vehicles require fuel to operate. To refuel your car, place a fuel can in a squad inventory and send them to the vehicle. When a group of survivors is stationed in a vehicle near a warehouse building, they can automatically refuel from on-site supplies.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
