Half-Life inspired survival Abiotic Factor is back with new update called Dark Energy. This patch introduced many novelties like Rocket Launcher for example. To use this weapon, you need Rockets. To craft this type of ammo you have to use Plutonic Blood. This material, however, is difficult to find. Therefore, we will tell you how to get it.

How to get Plutonic Blood in Abiotic Factor

As it was mentioned, Plutonic Blood is one of the materials used in crafting. You will need it to build Rockets (ammo to Rocket Launcher) and Transuranic Superalloy. Unfortunately, this resource was very hard to obtain before the recent hotfix. There used to be two main sources of this material, but both did not work very well.

  1. The first method to get Plutonic Blood is to search around Dusk Reactor in Reactors. The amount of this resource is pretty low, though.
  2. The second way is to loot killed Volatile Exors. In this case, the problem is the behavior of the creature. When it has low HP, they initiate the detonation process. If you don’t kill them fast enough, they explode, and you can’t obtain materials.

Luckily, developers have noticed the problem with Plutonic Blood. In the recent patch, they introduced some changes to increase the chances of finding this material. In the first place, they added a machine where you can trade Carapace for Plutonic Blood. You will find it in the Dusk Reactor conference room.

Developers also modified Volatile Exors. Now you can kill them during detonation process. Additionally, they decreased the chances of this happening. Right now, killing these creatures is a way more effective method to get Plutonic Blood than it used to be. So, go to Dusk or Mist Reactors and start hunting.
