Build your own cities without limitations… well that we would like to say, but there is a settlement cap in Civ 7. We will tell you how to increase it.
Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 is here. It has some flaws. If you want to read more about them, check out our review. However, in our guide we concentrate on different problematic mechanics. However, in this article we will talk about settlement limits and how to increase it.
No one should be surprised that in Civ 7, the game about creating civilizations, you have to found your own cities. Of course, we would like to build as many as we can. However, there is a limit to that. While we can technically own more settlements than the cap, it is connected to a high Happiness penalty. And we don’t want our towns to rebel, am I right? So, it’s better to not ignore the limit completely.
How to deal with this issue:
Remember though that all of these methods are quite long to use. You will not be able to build an infinite number of settlements. Keep that in mind and pick only the best and most strategic places.
