How to Refund Payday 3 on Steam

You pre-ordered PayDay 3 on Steam and now want to return the game? In this guide you will learn how to do it.

The Xbox Games Showcase revealed that PayDay 3 will be available on PC/Xbox Game Pass from launch day. So if you are a subscriber and pre-ordered the game, you can save money by getting a refund for the title. In this guide you will find information on how to return a game purchased on Steam.

PayDay 3 - how to return the game on Steam?

The refund procedure on Steam is extremely simple. If you want to get your money back for a game then you must meet the following conditions:

  1. You purchased the game directly on Steam;
  2. The total time you spent in the title does not exceed 2 hours;
  3. You made the purchase no more than 14 days ago.

Of course, everything written above applies to games that have already been released. When, on the other hand, you want to return a pre-order, you can do so at any time before the release. This is because there are no restrictions. In the case of PayDay 3 you therefore have until September 21 to think about it.

The refund process requires the following steps:

  1. You press the "help" tab on the top bar;
  2. In the expanded menu, you click on "Steam support";
  3. Choose PayDay 3 from the list of recent titles or from the "transactions" tab.
  4. You go to the "problem" section and select the refund option.

At the very end, you are left to decide where you want to receive the money. Here there are two options:

  1. The first is your Steam wallet. Then the funds will appear within a few hours.
  2. The second, on the other hand, is the return to an external account. The process can take up to a week.
