Valve has published the list of September's biggest launches of the year on Steam. The criterion taken into account was the revenue generated within two weeks of the debut.

The month was full of interesting games. Strong premieres were recorded by such games as Starfield, Party Animals, PayDay 3, Lies of P, Mortal Kombat 1 or Demonologist. In addition, a considerable commercial success was Dune: Spice Wars' debut beyond early access. Of these productions, the biggest hit by far was Starfield, which is all the more impressive because the game was simultaneously made available in Game Pass on PC.

Traditionally, specific sales results or even the correct order of the titles were not revealed. Therefore, we have added estimates from SteamSpy to the list.

The biggest DLC releases in September 2023 on Steam

SteamSpy does not provide estimates for DLCs, so the following order is random:

  1. Cyberpunk 2077: Spectre of Freedom
  2. Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways
  3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - Black Cell (Season 06)
  4. Planet Zoo: Oceania Pack
  5. DJMAX RESPECT V - MapleStory PACK

September turned out to be a very strong month in terms of DLCs. The loudest was, of course, Phantom Liberty for Cyberpunk 2077, but the Separate Ways DLC for Resident Evil 4 was also excellently received.
