„I Work 40 Hours a Week in a Supermarket, Only to Get Back Home and Start All Over Again.” Free-to-Play Supermarket Together Delights Simulator Fans
Supermarket Together is quite popular on Steam. The game, in which together with friends we can run our own store, is getting very positive reviews.
In March of this year, Supermarket Simulator had its 5 minutes of fame, at one point gathering over 50,000 people playing at the same time (via SteamDB). However, this title lacked one specific element, which the competition effectively exploited and a few days ago released Supermarket Together.
Multiplayer is the key to success
It's been known for a while that playing together with friends can make even a weak game a pleasant experience. However, I don't claim that Supermarket Together is a bad game, as 90% of positive reviews on Steam speak for themselves.
In the game, we run a store on our own or together with other players. Interestingly, the more people there are in the lobby, the more demanding the customers will be. Well-managed business operations will earn us points to use on the skill board, unlocking new products or boosting employee productivity. Over time, we will also increase the available space, and events such as theft attempts will add variety to the fun.
Supermarket Together was very well received by simulator fans. At the time of writing this text, 20,921 players are enjoying the game, with an overall peak of 30,472 users playing at the same time. Some reviews even claim that it is the most entertaining supermarket management game available on the market.
