In Nice Day for Fishing, eager fisherman will go fishing with characters from the iconic Epic NPC Man series
Nice Day for Fishing is a game developed in collaboration with the popular group Viva La Dirt League. The fishing production featuring characters from the Epic NPC Man series will be released next month.
Team17 partnered with FusionPlay studio some time ago, resulting in the creation of a game called Nice Day for Fishing. It stands out primarily for its official license from the well-known group Viva La Dirt League.
Today at the CAGGTUS fair, as part of the Find Your Next Game Showcase, the official release date of the game was announced. Nice Day for Fishing will launch at the end of next month, on May 29th. Below you can watch the latest trailer.
Nice Day for Fishing - basic information
Viva La Dirt League is a group of internet developers who run a popular YouTube channel with over 7 million subscribers. They are engaged in creating comedy sketches, often on the theme of video games, and one of their most popular series is Epic NPC Man.
These characters, created for the series' needs, are the ones we will encounter during the gameplay in Nice Day for Fishing. Of course, this is not the only interesting feature that the game has to offer.
Nice Day for Fishing takes us to the town of Honeywood, which was reduced to rubble after a catastrophic incident. As a humble NPC fisherman, Baelin, we set off on an adventure to save the city in the only way he knows - by fishing.
Among the key features of the game, the devs mention:
- epic fishing battles - statistics, spells, bait, or attack precision are important, and for the bravest adventurers, there are fights with bosses;
- exploration of the land of Azerim - we will discover the game world not only on land, but also underwater, and during the gameplay, we will encounter many independent characters who will give us quests to do;
- diverse equipment - Baelin will use not only a regular fishing rod, but over time will gain access to more advanced equipment such as a magnetic hook;
- reconstruction of Honeywood - during the adventures, we will collect many resources that we will use to rebuild the destroyed village;
- fishing collection - collecting fish and offering them to the fishing god will grant players blessings in the form of upgraded skills.
Nice Day for Fishing is heading to PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. If you're interested, you can check out the demo version, which is available for download on Steam.
