Baldur's Gate 3 has just received another minor update that further improves Larian's hit. The patch, numbered 15, eliminates several of the most common problems and introduces further performance improvements.

From the information made available by the developers we learn that the latest hotfix is focused primarily on fixing a bug that made characters' faces look like from a horror movie, "with empty cavities in the eye areas."

In addition, the developers also took care of players using mods. From now on, they should not encounter problems loading the game when the modifications are removed or changed.

Here are some of the other issues that the latest patch targets:

  1. game freezes during autosave after level changes;
  2. Xbox console freezing occurring when the game checks for the presence of the Deluxe version;
  3. game freezing when switching to Honor mode;
  4. game crashing when removing physical objects;
  5. a bug in multiplayer mode that caused players reconnecting to not receive correctly assigned characters;
  6. a bug causing player factions to sometimes become hostile to each other;
  7. a bug that caused companions to be unable to make a jump while following the main character (this glitch was present in BG3 from the very premiere and troubled many players).
