Tales of Seikyu, a cozy farming simulator, was released today in early access on PC. So, you will soon be able to start your life on the island full of Yokai – Seikyu. You will farm, cook, mine, explore forgotten ruins and many more during your adventure. The local town will also play an important role in your gameplay. You will not only be able to help its citizens but also establish relationships with them. Moreover, it is possible to date some NPCs. So, let’s talk about potential marriage candidates.

List of marriage candidates in Tales of Seikyu

The huge part of gameplay is focused on romance. You can meet many characters with which you can establish bonds. Relationships are based on mechanics similar to those known from Stardew Valley. So, you talk with NPCs, complete heart events and remember their birthdays.

Developers announced that Tales of Seikyu in version 1.0 will offer 14 different marriage candidates. However, during early access, you can only romance 6 characters.

Bachelor list

1. Yohji Shibata (available at early access launch) – a reticent and sometimes misunderstood local diplomat. He uses his political power to create human utopia on the island.
2. Torleone – a mysterious and determined fish-shop owner. He doesn’t talk about his past, and looks like he has some unfinished business.
3. Hephaestus (available at early access launch) – a Yokai blacksmith. He is tall and well-built. Don’t let his rough look fool you though, he is a kind person.
4. Musashi (available at early access launch) – a merchant who wants to redeem himself. In the past he traded black market goods.
5. Leon Achyard – a former explorer, who now shares his experience with others.
6. Sasaki – a furniture store owner, who loves jokes. He has tendency to mask his problems with humor.

Bachelorette list

1. Yui Oda – the mayor of Seikyu. She comes from a prestigious family.
2. Shuten – a tavern owner, who often listens and offers advice to her troubled customers. She has two adopted daughters.
3. Nyotengu (available at early access launch) – a warrior and peacekeeper of Yokai world. She’s loyal to Tengu clan of which she is a part.
4. Yoni – she’s a talented and naive Yokai. She has a dream to become an idol.
5. Anna (available at early access launch) – a casino worker. She is quiet and does not initiate contact with others.
6. Miss. Ama – a former actress with a troubled past. Now she’s a local tailor.
7. Liliana Shibata (available at early access launch) – a local artist and Yohji’s twin sister. She loves nature. She spends her days painting flowers and looking for rare plants.
8. Mika Fukuhara – a spa owner who loves water. Her age and beauty are the subject of many rumors.

Tales of Seikyu roadmap

As you can read in roadmap for 2025, developers have plans to add more romanceable NPCs (one of them will be available after first major update). Additionally, they will also implement more heart events and marriage.

Of course, romance isn't everything. There are more interesting features on the roadmap, all of them will be added in 2025 (of course, if everything goes according to plans). In the future, you will see new main story quests, furniture and outfits.
