Having trouble finding Vacstones and Gravcores in RimWorld Odyssey? Fortunately, our guide will help you with this issue.
RimWorld received another DLC 3 days ago (July 11, 2025), entitled Oddysey. Now you can build your own gravity ship and embark on a journey around the planet and even into space. With time, further development of the ship will indeed be necessary, however, you will need specific resources to do this, Vacstones and Gravcores among others. If you have trouble finding them, our guide will help you.
In short, Vacstones are nothing more than rocks from space. What follows, in order to get them, it is logical to go to... space. There you will certainly find asteroids, from which it is possible to collect Vacstones. However, players who are much luckier than others can also get Vacstone Blocks during exploration. This is a rare occurrence, but possible.
Vacstones are needed to build gravlite panels. They are, figuratively speaking, the motor of expansion for your spaceship. Without them, you won't be able to make floors for the ship. It's hard to buy them from anyone, so the best option is to do quests that will reward you with them, or by creating them yourself using Vacstones.
Gravcore is another important material you can get in RimWorld Oddysey. It is the key ingredient to craft grav field extenders for your spaceship. Thanks to them, you will be able to make the ship bigger. Therefore, if you are eager to enlarge your vessel, you will want to get them. In addition, they are also a necessary part of some other techs, which can be unlocked in the Research tab (like Gravcore Power Cell).
To get Gravcore, you will have to explore the world and go on journeys. You should regularly receive various missions that will reward you with them. The markers on the map will look like a blue hexagon with a white symbol inside it. Fortunately, they do not expire, so you don't have to rush to complete these quests.
