Moral choice strategy/adventure This Is the Police is coming out this month - on July 28. The game will be available in popular digital stores for $15.

An exact release date for This Is the Police has been revealed – the morally ambiguous strategy/adventure game by Weppy Studio is going to hit digital stores on July 28, 2016. The title will be available on Steam and GOG for about $15. Some time ago This Is the Police succesfully went through a Kickstarter campaign, where players helped fund the project, enchanted by its intriguing theme as well as the fact that the main protagonist would be starred by Jon St. John, the voice of Duke Nukem. Here you can watch a new trailer for the game:

In This Is the Police you play as Police Chief Jack Boyd who strives to use the 180 days left to his retirement to stuff his pockets (or rather bank account) with $500,000. To this end he has to deal with all sorts of criminals, take bribes, and manipulate the police forces in order to keep his illegal activities out of everyone’s sight. The game combines economy strategy mechanics – you manage your budget and available resources – and adventure elements, putting you up against multiple choices of moral nature.
