Early access to MultiVersus beta launched yesterday. Although the number of users who can play the title is limited, it is already very popular.
The fighting game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Player First Games has been in the news for some time now. If you are familiar with the rules of things like Brawhalla you will quickly understand what MultiVersus is all about. The goal of the players is simply to knock down opponents so that they fall outside the map area. You can play as well-known characters from under the Warner Bros. banner (Harley Quinn, Superman, Batman, Bugs Bunny or Tom and Jerry) on maps that are related to them (such as the Dark Knight's cave).
A few days ago the developers announced the schedule for the open beta testing on all platforms (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC) - it is July 26. Since yesterday, however, you can also get early access to the game. This is possible in several ways.
Despite the rather limited access to the game, MultiVersus is already a hit on Steam. According to data from Steam DB nearly 60 thousand people played the game last night. In addition, the game is coellcting very positive reviews from users.
"I smashed Superman as Tom and Jerry, 10/10"
"Bugs Bunny kicked my ass."
"Good game and all, but when will Walter White be available?"
A controversial issue is the price of Founder's Packs. Due to the fact that MultiVersus will be a free-to-play game on all platforms, the purchase of DLCs is optional. However, it seems that without spending money, the game may get boring rather quickly. Purchasing any of the Founder's Packs unlocks us access to more popular characters. For the moment, the Founder's Pack in its premium version is more expensive than most AAA games. Below we describe the contents of each DLC.
