Players Solve Mystery of Noden's Arc in AC: Valhalla

Players have solved an elaborate puzzle created by Ubisoft and discovered how to get the bow called Noden's Arc in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla without using glitches.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Fans of Assassin's Creed have discovered how to get Noden's Arc in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla without using glitches;
  2. It requires us to solve a very elaborate puzzle associated with the Collector's Edition of the aforementioned title;
  3. The puzzle was solved by a group called Access the Animus;
  4. The weapon is hidden in a rock on an island in the lake in northeastern Eurvicscire. To get it you have to strike the rock with Excalibur.

This week, Assassin's Creed fans managed to get their hands on Noden's Arc, a bot hidden in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. The weapon was first found thanks to a glitch, but it was soon revealed that it was also possible to get to it without exploiting game bugs. Members of the Access the Animus group managed to decipher the puzzle.

The sword is the key

Fans were able to translate the last part of the password, which consists of the aforementioned runes on the collector's edition box of AC: Valhalla. It reads "the sword is the key". After solving this puzzle an obvious question arose: what sword? The answer is hidden just above the runes, in a stylized illustration of a raven. If we look carefully, we can find in it an image of a very specific, legendary blade from the Assassin's Creed universe. See for yourself.

The sword in question is the Excalibur - which is confirmed by its description, which states that it can "crush anything". The weapon can be obtained by collecting all eleven of the tablets hidden in locations marked as Treasures of Britain (blue tablets on the map). Along the way, we'll also have to defeat three powerful Zealots - Hrothgar, Heike and Woden - so we suggest taking on this challenge only after we've progressed our character quite a bit.

A mysterious island and the right time

Next, we'll need to head to a small island located in a lake in northeastern Eurvicscire and strike the strange, shiny rock located there with the Excalibur.

However, there is one condition - we must do it at the moment when the sun is setting, otherwise nothing will happen. The right moment is indicated by another puzzle, this time related to the images on the back of the lithographs included in the AC: Valhalla collector's edition. By arranging them in the right way, we get the word "now" in Isu and, at the same time, cover up the sun icon drawn there.

Incidentally, the location of the island is also revealed by Isu runes - it was found by analyzing the numbers hidden on the side of the collector's edition steelbook. These coordinates indicate the location of Ubisoft's studio in Singapore (the same one responsible for creating the Eurvicscire region of Valhalla and developing the Isu language). If you're wondering what Singapore has to do with all this, the explanation is very simple - the borders of this country, not accidentally, have almost the same shape as the lake on which the island is located.

We have to admit that Ubisoft really made an effort, creating a working fictional language, as well as an elaborate puzzle, which certainly gave the fans of the series a lot of fun.
