New 9-minute gameplay from Mafia: The Old Country makes a pretty good impression, though players point out the outdated animations
We got more than 9 minutes of gameplay from the game Mafia: The Old Country. Fans have reproached the developers for, among other things, outdated animation.
In a month, Mafia: The Old Country will be released, so we can expect a lot of content from this gangster adventure in the near future. The latest gameplay was exclusively revealed as part of IGN First and you can watch it below.
Fans received the fresh footage well, but some players pointed out slightly outdated animations. As an example, the protagonist grabbing the weapon at 2:33 was mentioned.
The presented gameplay fragment comes from the fifth chapter of the title. It's worth mentioning that more of these materials promoting the prequel of the series will be released every Monday in July 2025. Mafia: The Old Country will be released on August 8, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
