World of Tanks will receive an intriguing crossover event with „gaming legends.” As part of the special event, players will gain access to Duke Nukem's and Lara Croft's tanks.
World of Tanks is one of those popular games where you often see collaborations bringing in well-known characters from other games, sometimes from different genres. The upcoming crossover in the free MMO from Wargaming studio may delight many dedicated fans of this title.
The famous adventurer, Lara Croft, and the tough guy, Duke Nukem, will make their appearance in World of Tanks. They will be available as unlockable characters in the "Heroes' Paths," a special edition of the battle pass that will be added to the game next Thursday, July 10th. There will be just under 2 weeks to collect the rewards from the discussed Battle Pass, as the event will end on July 21 at 8:30 pm PT.
Interestingly, the voice of Lara in World of Tanks is provided by Keeley Hawes, who appeared as the famous archaeologist in Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and Tomb Raider: Underworld. In the role of Duke Nukem in the production by Wargaming Studio, we will also hear the famous actor Jon St. John, who provided the voice for the titular character in games such as Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, and Duke Nukem Forever.
Duke and Lara are introducing quite powerful premium vehicles to WoT. In separate chapters, which will give us access to unique loot (including hero models, stickers, inscriptions, and medals), we will be able to acquire a medium tank of level VIII styled after Tomb Raider and a heavy assault tank of level IX reminiscent of the Duke Nukem series.
Lara's chapter in World of Tanks is supposed to consist of 30 stages, and Duke's of 40. We'll unlock these upgraded passes for gold, and players who are interested will also have the option to purchase character sets from famous game series (including characters like General Graves or Amanda Evert).
