New Tomb Raider Announced and Powered by Unreal Engine 5

Crystal Dynamics has announced that it has started working on the next part of Tomb Raider. The title is to be created on Unreal Engine 5.

Crystal Dynamics has just announced that it has started work on the next installment of Tomb Raider. At the moment, however, we do not have any specific information about the game. All we know is that it will be powered by Unreal Engine 5.

On this occasion, a short statement was published, in which Dallas Dickinson, the director responsible for the Tomb Raider brand stated that the company's goal is to create the best title possible.

"Our goal is to push the boundaries of realism and create the high quality, cinematic action adventure game that fans of Crystal Dynamics and the Tomb Raider series deserve."

As work on the new installment of the series has only just begun, it's safe to assume that we'll have to wait a bit for more information on it.
