There has been a lot of talk about the outfits of the main character of Stellar Blade for several weeks now. Eve has a truly extensive wardrobe at her disposal. Although the devs assured that the costumes would only be considered as cosmetics (without affecting Eve's statistics), it turns out that ultimately the level of difficulty of the gameplay will depend on our choice.

After Sony accidentally released a Stellar Blade demo on the PlayStation Store last week, many players have become familiar with Eve's in-game wardrobe. Of all the outfits, the one that attracted the most attention from fans was the "Skin Suit" costume.

After the game is released, it is likely that the "Skin Suit" will be one of the most commonly selected outfits, given the popularity of materials featuring the heroine wearing it on the internet. Before using this option, you must bear in mind that this costume will make the gameplay much more difficult.

Skin Suits are outfits specially crafted by Mother Sphere. It covers the body of the Airborne Squad Member and deploys on its own, or expands and contracts depending on the situation. In other words, it's like a living skin (shield is disabled when you put on this Skin Suit), says the in-game description of the outfit (via Insider-Gaming).

Therefore, it's easy to imagine that disabling the shield in the game, where a significant portion involves battles with many opponents, could be a real challenge.

Stellar Blade will be released on April 26 on the PS5 console. The game will also be released on PC at a later date.
