If you like Demonologist, we have good news. The game was updated today and alongside fixes and improvements it added some features too. The update contains new map called “Kurosawa House”. This location allows players to explore Japanese style house where they can find new riddles. One of them includes katana swords and paintings. How to solve katana puzzle in Demonologist
To solve the katana puzzle in Demonologist, first thing to do is to find three katana swords that are scattered around the house. Each of the blades has an engraving on its hilt. Those engravings are rabbit, owl, and bear.
Once you have collected all three katanas, you should head to a room that is opposite to the entrance. In there, you will find three statues. They are sculptures of 3 animals. Place the katanas on statues with corresponding creature. This will open the door to the painting puzzle room.
How to solve paintings puzzle in Demonologist
After successfully solving the katanas puzzle, you will find yourself in the next room where you will see 4 paintings on the wall. 2 paintings are found on the left wall and 2 on the right wall.
To solve this riddle, you will have to venture through the house to find the pictures corresponding to the ones located inside the puzzle room. The pictures you will find around the house will be hanging in a specific orientation. When you will find the picture, memorise what it depicts, and more importantly, its orientation. When you find all 4 of them, go back to the puzzle room and rotate the pictures there to match the ones that you have seen around the house.
How to finish the puzzle
Completing the previous two puzzles will make it possible to progress further. In order to do so, head to the nearby well. Inside of it you will find bones of the ghost haunting the house as well as 3 translucent items that will resemble a mask, an egg, and a dreamcatcher.
Again, you will have to look through the house to find those items. Once that is done, get back to the well where you will be able to complete the mission.
